Housekeeping Operations Workshop
OVERVIEW
Housekeeping is an operational department in a hotel, which is responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic upkeep of rooms, public areas, back areas, and surroundings. The effort that a housekeeping department makes in giving a guest a desirable room has a direct bearing on the guest's experience in a hotel. The objective is to maintain the overall cleanliness of the entire hotel at all times. To perform cleanliness duties most efficiently and effectively. To use good quality, safe cleaning equipment, and chemicals. To manage laundry and linen. In this training seminar, a practical session on room preparation and cleaning, the bed-making process, bathroom cleaning, cart preparation, stocking of linen, minibar cleaning, cleaning of other hotel areas, and essential customer service skills, among other topics will be presented to all participants.
