LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This course covers the requirement of international convention STCW 1978 as amended and Code (Manila amendments 2010) Chapter VI, Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-3 The Liberian Registry requirements on meeting the minimum standard of competence to take immediate action upon encountering an accident or medical emergency until the arrival of a person with medical first aid skills or the person in charge of medical care on board.
