LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This course covers the requirement of international convention STCW 1978 as amended and Code (Manila amendments 2010) Chapter VI, Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-4 The Liberian Registry requirements. Due to the vastly different environment on a ship as compared to ashore, this course will give new seafarers an insight and knowledge into the various elements of a ship working procedures, environment, better preparation to cope with any unforeseen circumstances on board and smooth their transition from shore to a sea career before they step on board ship.
